Slangs are developed in different parts of English speaking areas. It does not stop people to speak English. They are able to communicate with one another. I think allowing system to grow slightly differently is a beauty and freedom. There are not huge differences in between KIN and LAB. ICKL was established in 1959 to safeguard the system's development.DNB Theory Bulletin Boardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06969336669119816086noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9108029885866578583.post-80293717432900681172021-12-14T17:15:03.396-05:002021-12-14T17:15:03.396-05:00Thanks for these additions. For information, I remind you that a short article of Jacqueline Challet-Haas will be published in the next ICKL proceedings. It will present the way she introduced Motif in France in the 1980's, essentially (but not exclusively) based on V.P-D and A.H-G approaches. She decided to call it "Symbolisation du mouvement" (Movement Symbolization), making it grow in an interesting parallel with V.P-D "Symbology".Raphaël Cottinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02848074910864893272noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9108029885866578583.post-64966906555384724472016-01-15T11:23:01.480-05:002016-01-15T11:23:01.480-05:00Raymundo, can you be more specific and list your q...Raymundo, can you be more specific and list your questions?<br />DNB Theory Bulletin Boardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06969336669119816086noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9108029885866578583.post-36577279072865327782016-01-14T17:31:44.870-05:002016-01-14T17:31:44.870-05:00Dear Mei and Charlotte could you give to us more i...Dear Mei and Charlotte could you give to us more information about this two articles from Ann and Valerie? I had created Greenotation for African instruments while in high school in the fifties and was looking for a system wherein I could write the corresponding dance movements. A dancer who lived on the next block told me this and I became an undergraduate student overnight. I took my first classes in 1969 with Professor Betsy Martin.
